Myers has been jockeying for Johnny Damon to jump ship from the beloved Red Sox to Myers new home, the arch-nemsis New York Yankees.

Damon's agent, the notorious Scott Boras, thinks a 32 year old mediocre defensive outfielder is worth a 7 year deal! Seven years! The best that even the cash-rich Yankees has come up with is a 4 year plan...
